"Love Scenes" To Be Presented "Love Scenes," winner of "Best of San Francisco Fringe" in 2005, makes its first appearance on Long Island on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, at 8 PM, at the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island, located at 38 Old Country Road in Garden City. "Love Scenes," written by David Pumo, directed by Donna Jean Fogel, and performed by Moe Bertran, has enjoyed sold-out runs and outstanding reviews in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Mr. Bertran plays six characters, including a 20-something hustler, a Broadway producer, and a drag diva, all in search of true love. Playwright Pumo, whose play "Auntie Mayhem" won the 2004 Off-Off Broadway Review Award for Excellence, offers a sexy, touching, and humorous look at gay New Yorkers falling in and out of love.
