Congressman Peter King To Speak

Congressman Peter King will be the keynote speaker at the Annual Philanthropic Luncheon to be held by the Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The luncheon, hosted at the Cherry Valley Club in Garden City, will take place on April 14.

Congressman King is the Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Committee. He has been "a leader in the ongoing effort to have funding based on threat analysis, and is a strong supporter of the war against international terrorism, both at home and abroad." The Congressman will speak about the Department of Homeland Security and it's work fighting against terrorism. Mr. King is a well known political figure on Long Island, and was recently re-elected by a wide margin to another term of office.
