Resurrection Celebrates Marriages

Mrs. Anne and Rev. Vic Albers celebrate Anniversay Sunday at Resurrection, with 60 years of marriage.

Numerous couples held hands at the altar of Resurrection Lutheran Church recently as their marriages were recognized in the annual "Anniversary Sunday" event. The recognition is set to coincide with the weekend in February closest to St. Valentine's Day.

During a special part in the worship service, couples who were celebrating their first year or a multiple of five years of marriage were led in a renewing of their wedding vows.

Resurrection-Garden City is a Christian community of faith located at 420 Stewart Avenue. All are invited to worship at 5:30 PM on Saturdays and at 8:30 and 11 AM Sunday mornings, with Christian Education at 9:45 AM.
