| Congratulations to the 6th Grade St. Anne's boys basketball team. After the second full season together they made the playoffs! Coaches Bonifati and Prevete are proud of the boys' effort. They worked hard all year sharpening their skills and beating every team in their league but one. They finished with a 10 - 2 record, losing twice to an undefeated team. The team was led by returning players, Greg Arning, Eric Prevete and Matt Vitale. Other veterans Michael Bonifati, Nick Loverde, Thomas Holbrook,Matt Ventre and Joseph Lore all improved from last year and made positive contributions. Rookies Peter Kerantzas,. Cory Fallon and Kyle Skramko helped propel the team near the top of the league=s standings. Fallon led the team in scoring with Prevete and Vitale closely behind. Kyle compiled a mountain of rebounds and was a force on the court. Eric and Greg perfected their AStockton/Malone@ like pick and roll and were unstoppable at times. Matt Vitale's no lose attitude turned him into an offensive rebounding machine. The boys= team defense proved to be the difference in the 10 wins. They held their opponents to a league low 22 points per game. They played hard and made the coaches and parents all proud.

| We also wish to congratulate the two other 6 th grade teams, Walsh/Grandville and Bacigalupo on making the playoffs in their respective leagues . All three will be fighting hard to win the big one. We must give credit to Mr. Kiley and Mr. Clarke, St. Anne=s boys coordinators, Their extra effort to make all three teams competitive in each of their leagues was a major success. Congratulations to the entire program.
