Ex-Chief Ed Moran Receives American Legion Award

On Wednesday, February 21st, Garden City's William Bradford Turner American Legion Post awarded Ex-Chief Ed Moran with one of the Legion's Annual Law & Order Awards. Ex-Chief Ed Moran was honored for his 27 years of Volunteer Fire service to the Village of Garden City. Ex-Chief Moran, accompanied by fellow volunteer firefighters and his family, attended the local event. Besides the fire department, the American Legion Post also honored members of other local emergency services, including the Garden City Police, Garden City Special Police and the Mineola Ambulance Corp.
