Local Resident To Speak

Local resident Lana Noone will present her "Global Mom/Vietnam Babylift" program at the Shelter Rock Public Library, Searingtown, on March 15th at 11:00 AM,. The program is free and all Garden City residents are cordially invited to attend.

In addition to Mrs. Noone's talk, all programs include the Award-winning DVD film, "Operation Babylift-Homeward Bound", Art and Artifacts Exhibit, and a flute performance of traditional Vietnamese music.

In May, 2007, Mrs. Noone will participate in the Heather Constance Noone Memorial Babylift Award Ceremony, presented posthumously to President Gerald R. Ford at the Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
