The Prodigal Parable: A Reflection and Discussion

Judge Joseph Bellacosa
Judge Joseph Bellacosa will be offering a special layman's reflection: "The Prodigal Parable" - family relationships seen through the prism of Luke, Father Henri Nouwen and Rembrandt, at a presentation at St. Anne's Church, McClosky Auditorium on March 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Judge Bellacosa's insights will include his long fascination and personal study of some scriptural and artistic aspects of the parable of the Prodigal Sons (both of them!) in their dynamic relationships with their all-loving, all-forgiving Father.

The presentation will be followed by refreshments with an opportunity for questions and comments. All are invited to attend this most meaningful and inspiring evening.

Joseph Bellacosa has had a distinguished career that includes the practice of law and the positions of Chief Administrative Judge of the State of New York and Associate Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals. Judge Bellacosa went on to become the Dean of the School of Law at Saint John's University, his alma mater. Joe and his wife, Mary are active parishioners of Saint Anne's.
