Community Club's March Celebration

March doldrums can disappear at one of the programs that the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead will be presenting during March at the Garden City Casino.

Programs offered during this month include the debut performance of two one-act plays by the Adelphi Peforming Arts Department. John Norbeck through pictures and stories of Jones Beach will stir up our youthful memories of this Long Island jewel. The Literary Series with lecturer Brian Quinn will be discussing The Place of Desire by Mahfouz Maguib.

Pick one, or more, of these programs and enjoy and afternoon. Over tea and cookies you can learn more about the Community Club, and how it can enrich your life, not only during March, but also throughout the year.

Arrangements for a guest pass and information on dates of the programs can be had by calling Willa Ward, the Office Manager, at 746-0488, on Tuesday - Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

We would hope that after seeing what the Community club has to offer, you would join our group. Entering in March gives you the programs of March through May, plus the benefit of membership in the coming 2007-2008 season.
