Scout Sunday Celebrated

Fr. Gabriel blessed the medals before they were awarded.

On Sunday, Feb. 4 th Catholic scouts from the Garden City area met at St. Joseph's Church to celebrate Scout Sunday with a Mass and breakfast.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts from Pack 7, Pack 243, Troop 243 and Troop 80, numbering over 60, congregated for this annual event. Fr. Gabriel Muteru celebrated the 10 a.m. Mass, and awarded over 15 religious medals to the Cubs who completed the requirements for the Parvuli Dei and Light of Christ Medals.
