Free Art Workshop For Breast Cancer Patients Artist Hana Davis helps breast cancer patients and survivors express themselves through art in this hands-on workshop on Wednesday, April 25 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm and also on Wednesday, May 16, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at Adelphi University in Garden City. Participants will learn to see with an artist's eye and communicate their vision through drawing - using color, line, gesture and intuition. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Ms. Davis tells how art helped her to express feelings and deal with her diagnosis and treatment. Hana Davis studied at Pratt Institute, Art Students League, Parsons School of Design, FIT and the Nassau County Museum of Art. She has extensive experience as a fashion illustrator, teaches art at the Sandel Center in Rockville Centre, and has shown at the NC Museum of Art, the Heckscher Museum and private galleries.
