"Taste Of Garden City"At Wingate Inn

On Wednesday evening, February 28, 6-8 p.m., the Wingate Inn Garden City, 821 Stewart Avenue, will host the Garden City Chamber of Commerce's 4th annual "Taste of Garden City" Networking Event. Showcased will be 14 member restaurants and eateries providing samplings of their finest culinary specialties with Wingate Inn graciously providing libations.

Also featured will be renowned harpist Karen Strauss president of the Long Island Chapter of the American Harp Society performing her eclectic repertoire. A feature of the Chamber's After Hours Networking Series, the past "Taste of Garden City" events have been sell-outs, having been previously held at Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor. Business people and residents are cordially invited to mingle and socialize while promoting business within the Wingate's elegant lobby.

Participating restaurants and eateries include: Bagelman, Caligero's, Cold Stone Creamery, Garden City Hotel, Grimaldi's, Key Food Market, Kings Supermarket, La Bottega, Novita, Orchid, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Seventh Street Café, Starbucks and Sushi Ya.

Advance reservations are required at $22 for Chamber members; $27 for non-members. (Chamber members may bring guests at the Chamber rate.) Please make checks payable to the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and deliver to the Chamber's Toll Lodge Office, 230 Seventh Street by Monday, February 26.
