celebrate St. Patrick's Day as The Garden City Public Library welcomes back retired NYC detective Ed Deacy, now a successful cabaret entertainer and actor. Mr. Deacy was recently awarded the title of "New York State's Senior Idol." Ed brings his extensive songbook of lilting Irish ballads, lullabies and nostalgic tunes to the Garden City Public Library for a celebration of the Emerald Isle the whole family can enjoy. Sing along to Danny Boy, The Whistling Gypsy, The Wild Colonial Boy, Galway Bay, and so much more! Join us as all Irish eyes will be smiling on Sunday, March 11th at 1:30 PM.
