Reiki For Breast Cancer Survivors

Breast Cancer survivors and current patients are invited to a demonstration of Reiki, through the Paths to Wellness program of the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program on Wednesday, March 28, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Adelphi University in Garden City, Long Island.

Reiki is a technique that moves energy through the body promoting balance and providing deep relaxation and accelerated healing. Kathie Lipinski, RN, MSN, CDE, leads the workshop. Ms. Lipinski is a licensed Usui/Karuna Reiki Master and is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork. She is an adjunct professor in the Holistic Nursing Program at the College of New Rochelle and SUNY Stony Brook and has a private practice, Healing from the Heart.

This program is open only to breast cancer patients and survivors. It is sponsored by a grant from The New York State Department of Health, Community Based Cancer Support Services.
