Community Club To Hear Overview Of Special Education

Melissa Bradley,, who has thirteen years of experience in working with medically frail physically disabled and emotional/behaviorally challenged children, will be the speaker at the Community Club on Thursday, February 22nd at 1:30 p.m. at the Garden City Casino.

Mrs. Bradley, a Garden City resident, specializes in Pre-School Special Education. Prior to the birth of her daughter, she acted as the director of the Institute for Child Development for St. Mary's Healthcare System. Currently she is working part time as a special Education teacher for The Hagedorn Little Village School in Nassau County.

Lillian LaPlac, Chairman of the Americanism/Current Events Department of the Community Club, invites members and their guests to join her for tea following the program.

The Community Club offers a variety of programs, trips and creative art courses from October through May. For more information about the community Club you may call 747-0488 Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
