Art Opening At Adelphi

Joan Greenfield, Co-Curator; Faith Ringgold, Guest Curator and Honorary Vice President; NAWA, Eliz Alahverdian, Assistant, Adelphi Univ. Art Dept.; Adelphi Univ.; Richard Vaux, Gallery Director, Adelphi Univ. Art Dept.; Adelphi Univ.; Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby, Hugh A. Wilson, Interim Dir., African American and Ethnic Studies, Adelphi Univ.
Adelphi University and The National Association of Women Artists presented an art show "Women of Color-Personal Totems" in the Ruth S. Harley University Center Gallery. Town of Hempstead Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby presented a Certificate of Recognition to Hugh A. Wilson, Interim Director of African American and Ethnic Studies at Adelphi. The Councilwoman congratulated the curators and members of the Art Department at Adelphi who made the show possible. The show is open every day until Feb. 22.
