Community Church Nursery School's Dream Playscape Dinner Dance

The playground at the Community Church Nursery School is one of the features of the school that make it extra special. Generations of children have enjoyed climbing, running, jumping, pedaling and having great outdoor adventures on the playground.

The time has come for the playground to undergo a major renovation. Our plans will transform our already great playground into a space that celebrates the natural world and acts as an extension of the classrooms - A space that supports playful learning and encourages natural curiosity and wonder - Our Dream Playscape!

The new playscape is being designed by Rusty Keeler of Planet Earth Playscapes. He takes inspiration from the surrounding area and blends it into a child and teacher friendly space filled with a variety of sensory experiences for all seasons. "In many ways we're simply making the play yard more of what it already is - stretching the playscape by making it slightly more woodsy, more creatively sandy, rolly polly more hilly, bike track more loopy, open area with enhancements, secret spots more secret and more low maintenance plantings to create cozy nooks." . . . The plans are in place for building the new Playscape this summer! Of course, great projects come with a price tag. Tom and Wendy Hoey are sponsoring the Dream Playscape Dinner Dance - March 1, 2007 7-11pm at the Jericho Terrace. Tickets are $100.00 per person.

This evening is open to anyone in the community who would like to support our dream. This could be a great time to reconnect with Nursery School friends. With fabulous company, good food, music and dancing the evening promises to be a lot of fun, all for a great cause.
