Rotary Remembers The Holidays

Club members and guests enjoyed the festivities
This past December 4, members and guests of the Mineola-Garden City Rotary Club celebrated the holidays at their annual holiday luncheon at the Garden City Hotel. Two Paul Harris Fellowships, Rotary's highest honor, were presented to two Rotarians whose achievements within the club had earned this prestigious honor; the Club presented a donation of $6,000 to Rotacare, which provides medical services for those in need; and the renowned Garden City High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble entertained with a medley of specially prepared holiday tunes.

The Club meets every Monday throughout the year (except for holidays) at 12:15 p.m. at the Garden City Hotel and local restaurants within Garden City and Mineola. For information about becoming a member of the Mineola-Garden City Rotary Club, call Tracy Abamont, president, at (516) 322-2747.
