Women's Club Hosts Party

7 Bob Kaliban entertained the audience.

A festive Christmas Party was held at the Garden City Library on December 12.

The Women's Club of Garden City was the host. President Norma Takach chaired a short business meeting and then presented a $300 check to charity. The recipients were: the Alzheimer's Day Care Program, the Seeing Eye Dog Foundation, the Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Cooley's Anemia Foundation.

The fun continued with Garden City resident and actor Bob Kaliban, delighting the audience with humor and reminiscences of his career. Eggnog, sandwiches, cookies and coffee followed.
