Taking a hint from one of singer Andy Cooney's favorite songs, "Danny Boy," for its theme, "Msgr. John's Knights" will honor (i.e. "Roast & Toast") their longtime Advertising & Promotion Director Dan Burns at an informal family fun dinner-dance, Grand Knight Bob Guida has announced.

Joining Bob in coordinating the event will be a Knights power quartet of "Jay" Lynch, John Parks and Joe Hayes and Jim Cioffi.

The affair will be held at Koenig's Restaurant, Floral Park on Saturday, Feb. 24 starting at 7 P.M. All parishioners are invited to attend. A solid turnout is expected since Burns has been promoting Knights events since 1996 and St. Anne's parish activities, primarily in the Garden City News, since his arrival here with wife Adele and family in 1964. At the time, he was Senior Vice-President, Director of Promotion at a major New York advertising agency.
