The Garden City Antiques Show

Americans are pretty savvy shoppers - we know a bargain when we see one! But we're also in a hurry - always trying to do three things in the time for one! If only we could combine speed shopping with bargain pricing! We here at Flamingo Promotions understand this and have been looking for a way to help. And help we can -- we're pleased to offer two fabulous shows under one roof for one affordable admission for one wonderful weekend!

We've taken the prestigious Long Island Book & Ephemera Fair - established, long-running, proven, and now in it's 28th year - and combined it with the equally prestigious Garden City Antiques Show - now in it's 10th year! We're holding both on the weekend of March 31 & April 1 in the Garden City Field House at St. Paul's, and charging just one low admission price for both! Now you can shop for a book and the bookstand at the same time! Want a cool 50's movie poster and a comfy chair to sit on while looking at it - we've got you covered! How about a great Persian rug to curl up on in front of the fireplace along with a scary Stephen King - look no further! A wealth of rare out-of-print books, poster, prints, and ephemera is waiting for you along with period furniture, vintage textiles, china, pottery and glassware!

Renowned for its presentation of fine classical antiques and unique decorative accessories, The Garden City Antique Show has been a mainstay of the antiques community in New York for many years. We returned it to the Garden City Field House (formerly St. Paul's School), home to The Long Island Book & Ephemera Fair for many years. Nationally prominent book & ephemera exhibitors will join equally important antiques exhibitors to present the finest antiques and vintage decoratives in designed settings and displays alongside antiquarian books, maps, prints, poster and much, much more, at one of the most respected venues on Long Island! Decorators, designers, and collectors alike will flock to this unique event for the outstanding selection of finds.

Hours are Saturday: 11am-6pm/Sunday: 11am-4pm. Adult Admission: $6, Young Collectors 12-21: $3, Under 12 always free, and plenty of free parking. Catered refreshments will be available, and full credit card service for customer purchases will be provided. The Field House is on Stewart Avenue in Garden City.
