On the Sunday of Martin Luther King weekend, the children of the Cathedral of the Incarnation Church School met in the undercroft of the church following the 9:30 a.m. Family Mass. Together they created a mural to depict the journey of the Magi to Bethlehem to find the Christ Child. Using a collage form of art, each child was able to create a piece of artwork to be incorporated into the mural. In addition to helping the participators better understand the Bible story, they also experienced the power of drawing together to do good works. Their masterpiece hangs in a place of honor in the Cathedral undercroft and may be viewed by anyone interested simply by visiting the beautiful landmark at the center of the Village of Garden City.
