PTA's Health Awareness Night

Join the Garden City PTA on Thursday, February 1, 7 p.m. at the Garden City High School Library to hear Dr. Stanley Turecki speak on "Expert Parenting in the 21 st Century." Dr. Turecki's philosophy is: to be an expert parent, you don't have to be a PERFECT parent! He gives advice on adapting your parenting style to each individual child, a message that's informative to parents of all ages. Dr. Turecki is a board certified psychiatrist in Manhattan and listed by "New York Magazine" as one of the "Best Doctors in New York." He is the best selling author of: The Difficult Child. Dr. Turecki has made numerous television guest appearances including; Oprah, Good Morning America and The Today Show and has served on the Board of Advisors for Parents Magazine.
