St. John's Kenyan Children's Foundation Mass

The Trustees and Board Members of the St. John's Kenyan Children's Foundation invite all friends and generous supporters to attend a Mass of Blessing of the Foundation, to be held at St. Joseph's Church on Wednesday, February 7th, at 7:30 pm. The Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Gabriel Muteru, Honorary Chairman, who is seen in the photo surrounded by a group of orphan Kenyan children, last summer. The Foundation was created to promote the welfare of a group of children from the villages near Nyeri, Kenya, who have lost their parents, and are in need of shelter, food, education, and all the love and support we can offer. We would like to thank everyone who purchased wine through the Holiday Wine Sale, and all the supporters who so generously responded to the Christmas Message Campaign over the holidays. The donations helped to organize a Christmas party for the orphans, where they received food and blankets. We were also able to raise funds to cover the children's school fees. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of all friends of the Foundation, the Kenyan children enjoyed a very special holiday. Please join us on February 7th , together with your family, friends, and neighbors, to celebrate the work of the Foundation, and to pray for the welfare of the children in Kenya. The Planning Committee is organizing a Wine Tasting Fundraiser to be held in the Spring. You will receive more news about this exciting event soon.
