Second Graders Explore Garden City Library

Stratford School second graders learned what the Garden City Public Library has to offer them during a field trip to the library in January. Librarians treated the students to readings from several new books, presented a felt board story, and reviewed the many services that the library maintains especially for young readers. Students also learned how to locate and checkout books on their own and were encouraged to visit the library again with their families.
