Taxpayer's Forum Held

Hempstead Town Receiver of Taxes Don Clavin (standing) discusses important tax issues with a group of Garden City residents at a recent Taxpayer's Forum held at the Garden City Public Library. Receiver of Taxes Clavin discussed important issues such as tax payment collection periods, payment methods, tax exemptions, challenging assessments, Hempstead tax office extended hours and satellite office payment dates.
