The 2007-2008 GCHS Varsity Cheerleading squad. Football season may be over, but the Garden City High School cheerleading squads are still going strong. The varsity and the junior varsity squads are both busy training to compete in several competitions in December and January, including two Long Island Cheerleading Coaches Association compe-titions. The two squads will be debuting all new choreographed routines that feature a fast-paced combination of dance moves, cheers and stunts.
