Garden City Basketball - Here We GO!
Friday Night Lights will have its third session on Friday November 30th 7:30pm - 9:30pm at Stewart School. "Friday Night Lights - Streetball" is our Boys 7th thru 10th Grade program. You must be registered and may do so at the door upon arrival.
The intramural season at St Paul's fieldhouse will start Saturday, December 1st. This year the Garden City Basketball program will operate in the afternoon. We will return to the morning next year. Teams have been formed and players have been notified. The K-1st-2nd grade clinic does not have teams and players are not called. Please just show up at the clinic. Our schedule is:
* 1:30pm - 3:00pm Boys and Girls K-1st-2nd Clinic
* 3:00pm - 4:30pm Girls 3rd thru 7th grade
* 4:30pm - 5:30pm Boys 3rd/4th grade
* 5:30pm - 6:30pm Boys 5th/6th grade
The weeknight clinics held by Garden City Basketball are some of the best that you will find. We supplement our dedicated parent coaches with expert instruction from professional AAU coaches. We believe that professional instruction is not just for a couple of grades, therefore it is provided to boys 3rd thru 6th grade and girls 3rd through 7th grades. The focus is on skills, drills, development, and fun.
On Thursday December 6th, we will have our second Girl's 3rd thru 7th grade Clinic from 6:00pm-7:30pm at St Paul's.
On Thursday December 13th, we will have our third K-1st-2nd grade Special Event Clinic from 6:00pm-7:30pm at St Paul's.

* Tuesday November 13th there was a "Building Better Athletes". This was for parents and players. This hands-on clinic included strength training program design and why active & passive stretching is important.
* Wednesday November 14th there was a "Coaches Strength Clinic". This hands-on workshop discussed the theory and practice of productive strength training as well as how it applies to improving athletic performance.
* Saturday November 17th - there was a "Speed, Agility, and Quickness" specifically tailored for the Garden City Basketball program. With the outstanding feedback from this event, we will schedule another event at one of our weeknight clinics.
