Having competed in Nassau Division One the past several seasons, the Sparks knew that their jump up to LI Division One would be a challenge. Playing tough every week, the Sparks went 3-2-4, with the only two losses coming to Division-winner Massapequa and to East Meadow, which finished tied for third. Had a couple of calls gone the Sparks' way, the team would have finished in the top three in the Division. The Sparks also enjoyed great success competing in the top division in various tournaments, going undefeated and taking first place in the Windsor, Connecticut Columbus Day tournament, placing second to Massapequa in the East End Tournament, and taking third in the Premier bracket of the Ref-Fuel tournament. All in all, it was a great season for the girls playing against the best teams on Long Island. Congratulations to team members Caroline Beaty, Annie Blanco, Shannon Callahan, Taylor Carpentier, Erin Connelly, Tara DeAngelo, Kate DeMarco, Emma Gallagher, Sarah Galzerano, Kaitlyn Gorman, Brianna Maglio, Katherine Malhame, Lauren Mixon, Kayla Murphy, Haley O'Hanlon and Sabrina Rodgers.
