Mr. and Mrs. Brendan Trillhaase Dr. and Mrs. Manuel Fajardo of Garden City and Sea Isle City, NJ are delighted to announce the marriage of their daughter, Michelle Licitra, to Brendan Carl Trillhaase, son of Mr. and Mrs. Karsten Trillhaase of Newtown, CT and Long Beach Island, NJ. The bride is also the granddaughter of Helen Licitra of Garden City. A nuptial mass was officiated by Reverend Father Joseph Schlafer on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at St. Joseph's Church in Garden City. An evening reception was held at The Fox Hollow in Woodbury, NY.

The couple honeymooned in South Africa and Zimbabwe for two weeks, where, in addition to the many safaris, they went diving with great white sharks, white water rafted in the Zambezi River, rode elephants and walked with a pride of lions. The newlyweds will live in Bayside, NY.

The bride's maid of honor was her sister, Marylynn Licitra Fajardo. Bridesmaids included childhood friends April Cain, Kelly Manzer and Randi Levine, as well as college friend Giovanna Giordano and Jaclyn Sparisci. Her cousins, Leanne Licitra and Jennifer Weinpahl, served as junior bridesmaids.

The groom's best man was his brother, Jared Trillhaase. Groomsmen included his brothers in law, Manuel and Michael Fajardo, and childhood friends Andrew De Roy and Paul Tibbitts. Stephen Weinpahl, the bride's cousin, served as the ring bearers.

Michelle graduated from Garden City High School in 1999 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Drew University in 2003. She currently works as a Staff Accountant for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.

Brendan is a 1998 graduate of Frankfurt International School, located in Frankfurt, Germany. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University in 2001 and an MBA in finance, magma cum laude, from University of Connecticut in 2005. Brendan is a principal at Detica Limited, a business and technology consultancy firm located in New York City.
