Fresh from an exciting and successful Tour of the Top of The Rock, lunch at Tavern On The Green and a tour of the Conservancy Gardens at Central Park, the Garden Department of the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead will present a program on "Holiday Magic." The date is Thursday, November 29th at 1:30 p.m. at the Garden City Casino. The speaker is Muriel Urban, Garden Department Chairlady and who will make five arrangements for the home. Chances will be sold and five lucky winners will be taking home a holiday centerpiece.

Muriel Urban has exhibited prize winning arrangements in Flower Shows sponsored by the Community Club, the Federation Garden Clubs of N.Y. State, and in the Long Island Fair at Old Bethpage Village. She holds the Award of Creativity and also the Tri-Color Award from Flower Shows. They are the two highest awards one can receive in Flower Shows.

The Community Club was established in 1919 and offers a wide variety of quality programs in many areas, as well as trips and creative classes in their Studio Department and Flower Arranging workshops in the Garden Department.
