The team celebrates their 48 game winning streak with a team photo. photo by Newsphoto.com After defeating MacArthur 19-0 on Saturday November 3rd, Garden City's JV football team kept their 48 game win-ning streak alive. With key touchdowns being scored on fourth quarter interception returns by Brian Fischer and Joe Tursi the defense outscored the offense. Joe Tursi added a 30 yard field goal as the team finished undefeated (8-0) and extended GC's six year win streak to 48-0. Another fact to note: the first string defense did not give up a single touchdown all season and the Trojans outscored their opponents 183-21.
