MaryKate, Emma and Maddy are all smiles during halftime Girls U11 POWER returned from their victorious Windsor Tournament ready to get back to their regular league schedule. Windsor weekend proved tiring, but gave the girls a new sense of teamwork and friendship and gave the coaches the chance to try out new positions for the girls. Saturday's 9:00 a.m. game at Soccer Park vs. Glen Cove started out quite chilly, but heated up quickly. Great defense on both teams kept the game very close and exciting. Glen Cove slipped in one goal just before the half and it proved to be all that was needed. The 1-0 final score was the result of a hard fought game on both sides! Better luck next time POWER.
