Flu Program For Seniors

As part of its on-going commitment to promote the health and well-being of the community, Winthrop-University Hospital will hold its annual Senior Citizen Flu and Pneumonia Shot Program on Monday, November 5, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (516) 663-8301.

Held at Winthrop's Community Outreach Center, 101 Mineola Boulevard at the corner of Second Street in Mineola, the program is co-sponsored by the Nassau County Departments of Health and Senior Citizen Affairs, and Nassau University Medical Center. To be eligible for the vaccine, seniors must be Nassau County residents age 60 and over and his/her spouse.
