The Nominating Committee of the Central Property Owners' Association ( CPOA ) of Garden City is seeking candidates for the positions of Village Trustee and Board of Education Trustee. The term of office for Village Trustee will be for two years from 2008 to 2010 and the term of office for Board of Education Trustee will be for three years from 2008 to 2011.

The candidates for both Trustee positions must live in the Central section of the village.

Residents from the Central section who are interested in being considered for either of these positions are requested to secure an application from the chairperson of the nominating committee, Tom Simpson ( 747-2174 ) or any of the following members of the nominating committee : H. Arthur Anderson, Kathleen Galgano, Kathleen Horton, Daniel Karas (Vice Chair), Patrick Kelly, Wayne Muscarella, Joseph J. Ortego, and Steven Vincent.

The deadline for the return of a completed application form is Friday, November 16, 2007.
