Brynn Murphy fights for control of the ball, while Jackie Jahelka lends support. After a "blip" in their season against Stonybrook, the Daredevils came on strong this past weekend in their match against Hicksville, which resulted in an impressive 2-0 win. Impressive, due to the incredible teamwork demonstrated throughout the game. It was a true "Daredevils" win with defiant defenders, smart playmakers, and determined finishers working together to pull it off - and they did.

Captain Brynn Murphy led the charge during the game, demonstrating commitment and persistence throughout and thereby setting the tone for the entire team. Nicole Bommarito made it pay-off, with a determined line drive shot into the net to secure a 1-0 lead. The second goal came from a pass by Charlotte Castronova to Carly Knowles, who passed it back to Jenna Pasquale, who ripped it into the net with a forceful and skillful shot. As always, the Daredevils always look to Kelsey, their goalie, who covers their back... and she did, with another shut-out.

A high five for teamwork.....Castronova to Knowles to Pasquale... GOAAAAAL! Courtney Studdert had a terrific game at midfield, fighting for the ball on every play. Jenna Pasquale sends a rocket into the net, as Liesle Jaye and Nicole Bommarito follow the play. That's Kelsey Tierney in goal.... of course it didn't go in! Niki Berkery, Bitty Furman, Courtney Studdert, Taylor Pappas and Erin Greine are ready for the rebound.
