RotaCare Plans Caregivers' Ball

Robert Schoelle, village administrator of Garden City and his wife Monica. Invitations have been mailed to RotaCare's 14 th Annual Caregivers' Ball to be held at Tam O'Shanter Golf Club in Brookville on Friday, October 19, at 7 p.m. Black tie is optional. The evening will begin with a lavish cocktail reception followed by dinner and dancing. The Ball Committee, chaired by Gary Fishberg, promises a most enjoyable evening.

RotaCare will honor Richard A. Shlofmitz, M.D., director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Cardiology at St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Shlofmitz was named one of the "Top 100 Doctors" by New York magazine and was also recognized by the magazine in 2006 as one of the "Best Doctors."

RotaCare continues its mission to facilitate free health care for those who have the most need and the least access to medical care. The mission is accomplished by a dedicated volunteer staff and the financial contributions of organizations and individuals committed to making health care available to all in need. Rota Care is a project or Rotary District 7250 and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
