Dr. and Mrs. Peter Langan of Garden City, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah to J.T. Petty. Ms. Langan is the author of two novels, and an enviromental toxicology master's student at NYU. Mr. Petty is a screenwriter, children's book author, and director, who recently finished filming his movie
