Chips, pictured here at 6 months of age, would like to attend the Blessing of the Animals at Christ Episcopal Church All species are welcome! Christ Episcopal Church in Garden City invites you and your dog, cat, bunny, ferret, gold fish, or any other special animal friend to a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 7, at 9:15 a.m., rain or shine in the parking area at Jefferson Street and Chester Avenue (three blocks west of New Hyde Park Road).

The brief service in honor of St. Francis takes place between the regularly scheduled 8 a.m. said Holy Eucharist and the 10 a.m. sung Eucharist.
