2007 Showcase A Huge Success!
Spanish dancers had style and elegance
The Garden City Recreation Dance Company held its annual showcase under the direction of Felicia Lovaglio on June 15th in Herricks Community Center's auditorium. It was a memorable evening as the girls performed for over 300 spectators who cheered them on. The performance consisted of choreographed works by Felicia Lovaglio, Mary Searson, Jenna Lopeki, Amanda Simolari, and Emily Grant. The company members, who ranged from the age of 8 to adults, showed off their talents in various dance forms including tap, hip-hop, jazz, and modern. These girls possess a wonderful spirit and made time to appreciate dance and have fun. They're a wonderful group of girls who worked very hard and "hats off" to them for their spectacular performance. The Company members were:
