 On Saturday, June 9th, the Patriettes played one of their toughest games this season against the Merrick Sharks. The Patriettes started out strong and met the Sharks head on. Shot after shot by the Patriettes' offensive line was blocked by the Merrick keeper. The Patriettes' goalie and line of defense held the Sharks off and the score was 0-0 at the end of the first half. The battle continued throughout the second half and with less than two minutes left in the game, the Sharks scored a goal. The Patriettes were defeated, 1-0. All in all, it was a great game and the Patriettes should be very proud of their strong performance and excellent teamwork. |
