Christina Mangels Christina Mangels was one of 18 girls chosen from the GU13 New York State Soccer Olympic Development Team to compete in the Rider Cup Tournament June 8 through June 10 at Rider University in New Jersey. Goalie Christina represented New York as it competed against Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Jersey state teams. In the three games played the only goals scored against her were two penalty kicks. Christina has been a goalie for the Long Island Junior Soccer League and New York State Olympic Team for the past three years. She currently plays for Division 1 East Islip Explosion.
