The transition and Pre-K classes enjoyed the many books Mrs. Nappi brought from the library. Children at Lutheran Preschool had a busy month. The children's librarian from the Williston Park Library, Mrs. Sandy Nappi, visited the children and shared many wonderful stories.

Librarians Joanne Van Meter, Donna Furey and Barbara Grace from the Garden City Public Library told children about their jobs and the important role the library should play in their lives. They all shared many wonderful books, songs, and finger plays with each age group.

At the end of May, children celebrated Memorial Day by making flags and parading around the school. Music teacher Mrs. Linda Wardley taught them patriotic songs.

The Lutheran Preschool is a ministry of the Lutheran Church oaf the Resurrection located at 420 Stewart Avenue in Garden City.
