GC HS Graduate Receives Law Degree
Edward P. (Ted) Lansdale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward R. Lansdale of Garden City has graduated cum laude from New England School of Law in Boston, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in commencement exercises on Friday, May 25. He will join the Boston office of the law firm of Morrison Mahoney LLP as an associate in the fall.
Ted is a 1996 graduate of Garden City High School and a 2000 graduate of Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y., where he received a bachelor of arts degree in economics. Before entering New England School of Law, he was a managing supervisor with the Boston office of Fleishman-Hillard, the international public relations firm.
At New England School of Law, Ted was a New England Scholar and a member of the editorial staff of the New England Law Review. He is the author of "Used as Directed? How Prosecutors Are Expanding the False Claims Act to Police Pharmaceutical Off-Label Marketing," published by the New England Law Review in 2006. The article was the Law Review's contribution to the American Society of Writers on Legal Subjects (Scribes) 2006-2007 Notes-and-Comments Competition.
Ted and his wife, Katherine reside in Natick, Mass.
