Lauren Miesemer prepares to shoot Last Saturday at Nassau Haven Park the Garden City Xtreme battled the New Hyde Park Lady Tigers. The match featured tremendous battles for possession in the middle third. The Xtreme used a variety of combination passes to pressure the Lady Tiger's defense and keeper. On defense, the Xtreme handled the speedy NHP forwards and covered for each other well when under pressure. The Xtreme displayed well timed through balls and were aided by smart attacking runs from the back. The team gave a gallant effort for 50 minutes but were defeated by the Lady Tigers 2-0.

The team has a busy weekend coming up. Hosting Wantagh/Seaford on Saturday and the traveling to Massapequa on Sunday for a Waldbaums match.
