Jonathan B. Hester , son of Foy and Maureen Hester of Garden City, is a candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics with a Minor in Mathematics from the Raymond B. Jones School of Engineering at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Commencement exercises will be held on Saturday afternoon, fifth of May 2007 at four o'clock in the afternoon.

Jonathan is a 2003 graduate from Garden City High School. When he is home, he is an active volunteer member of the Garden City Fire Department.
