Victor Alinovi, 84, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Victor graduated from Newtown High School in NY, as Valedictorian in June 1940. He was accepted to Columbia University where he was a pre-med student and played on the baseball team. Victor graduated from Columbia University in 1944 and was accepted to Long Island College of Medicine School located in Brooklyn, NY. More...

Setting The Record Straight To the Editor: At the May 3rd meeting the Board of Trustees approved the reappointment of Cullen Dykman as Village Counsel by a 5 to 3 vote. Trustees Brudie, Watras and I dissented. At that meeting three examples where the Counsel failed to properly represent the Village were noted and were reported in last week's Garden City News.
