Contest Winners Recognized
Every March the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) announces the winners of their many annual essay contests. This year, the Colonel Aaron Ogden chapter of NSDAR hosted the winners of the chapter essay awards and their families at the March 6th meeting. On behalf of the chapter, Mrs. Margaret Kirkland Musil, Chairwoman of American History, was pleased to announce Iris Chin as the chapter history winner. The topic for the American History essay contest this year was to write a letter as a member of the Jamestown settlement to a family member back home. The Colonel Aaron Ogden chapter joins the many chapters across the country in recognizing the many talented children in our schools.
