Garden City's Tri-town Auxiliary of United Cerebral Palsy held its annual Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice Luncheon on March 11, 2007 at the Pompei Restaurant in West Hempstead. The ballroom was decorated with lovely pink and green balloons and the food and drink was endless.
The entertainment was delightful. Our guest singer Sienna started out the day on a high note. Everyone enjoyed a number of great performances from the Donny Golden's Champion Irish Step Dancers. The Dancers were right in step with the excitement of the day and were stunning in their beautiful dresses. Guests danced away the afternoon to the sound of Victor our DJ from "Let's Party". An acknowledgement was given to all who volunteered their time and to everyone in the community who donated such tremendous prizes.

The raffle baskets were endless. Over 50 beautiful raffle prizes were taken home by smiling winners. Those guests who did not win a basket still went home with a special gift. Finally, the ice cream bar put a nice ending to the evening.
The luncheon was held for the benefit of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County. You do not have to be a member to attend any of our events, but you must reserve tickets early as they have a tendency to sell out quickly.
