Lutheran Preschool children sing for the Saturday evening service as part of the Family Day festivities. An enthusiastic group of children, parents, family members and friends of the Lutheran Preschool gathered for Family Day recently. The preschool was decorated with various prices of art work and projects from the children. Families enjoyed touring rooms and seeing the beautiful creations of the children. Lutheran Preschool offers classes for 3 and 4 year olds and a transitions class for children nearing kindergarten age.

The families then gathered together in the church for Resurrection's Saturday evening service. The children sang three songs as part of the worship service. At that service Mrs. Carolyn Edel was honored for her 20 years of teaching at the preschool. Additionally, Mrs. Christine Turner was honored for her 20 years of directing the preschool. Under Mrs. Turner's leadership the school has expanded in many ways including enrollment, computer class, science center, foreign language, Transition classes and much more. The preschool is a ministry of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, a Christian Community of faith.
