African Missionaries In Community Church
The Rev. Wayne Wilson
This Sunday, April 22 at 9:15 a.m., the Rev. Wayne Wilson and Mrs. Ingrid Wilson will address the Adult Forum at the Garden City Community Church The Wilsons have been involved with mission work in Swaziland and Mozambique for the past three years and will describe their experiences of living and working with African Christians.
The Rev. Wayne Wilson and Mrs. Ingrid Wilson have been appointed by the Common Global Ministries Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ to serve a four-year term with the Evangelical Congregational Church in Angola/Swaziland/Mozambique beginning May 1, 2004. Rev. Wilson served as a development project officer for the church and Mrs. Wilson served as the coordinator for women's work. Rev. Wilson was the Associate Pastor at St. Albans Congregational Church, where he and Ingrid has been serving as pastor and member, prior to their mission assignment.
Rev. Wilson will also preach at the 10:30 Worship Service, and Mrs. Wilson will meet with the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grades in the church school.

The Community is invited to attend the forum in the church parlor, and worship in the Sanctuary. Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship Services are on Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
